[Flashback Friday] Lil Wayne & The Sqad - We Are The Champions

Everyone talks about what Lil' Wayne they love and I always see Carters'. Well for me, I loved the Sqad Up Lil' Wayne, so it's only fitting that my Flashback Friday goes to the Sqad crew!

"We Are The Champions" is the track that I chose to highlight, it was probably one of my favorite joints from the Sqad Up mixtape series back when the internet was rarely used! I think everyone who had a verse completely murdered it! This was when Wayne is total organic and dope and that's all my opinion!

[Flashback Friday] Timbaland & Magoo Feat. Missy Elliott & Aaliyah - Up Jumps Da Bogie

Flashback Fridays will be weekly (DUH) segment in which I showcase some old tracks that I rocked with though! So keep in mind this is MY flashback not yours, so I could care less about your opinion on what I chose to post!
My first Flashback Friday goes to Timbaland and Magoo. This was the days where you can go in and purchase a single cassette tape that had like 3 versions of the song, the explicit, the clean, and then the instrumental. I remember walking in the store with my dollars and coins that I got from doing chores around my mom's house and purchasing the FULL Welcome To Our World cassette. I didn't have a CD player at the time, but my walkman did the job very well and NEVER skipped lol.
"Up Jumps Da Boogie" was hands down, my favorite song on the album. The video was AMAZING! I can watch it over and over again and just smile! You had the entire camp in the video, Timbaland, Magoo, Missy Elliott, Aaliyah, and Ginuwine. To me, they were all my favorites in the late 90s!
