[New Tunes] The GTW- Calling Cards

It's about time we got a new The GTW track and it comes right on time! "Calling Cards" serves as the first single off his upcoming debut album, Chigeria. 

The GTW has been working hard, he's been featured on numerous tracks as well as having shows, which he will be performing at SXSW. His debut mixtape, Don't Smoke The Cigarette, was released during the World Cup in 2010, so it's only fitting that he releases Chigeria during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

In the last two years, The GTW has collaborated with emerging producers like Hot Sugar, Sweater Beats, Supreme Cuts, BengFang, but this solo album is opportunity to tell the world about his heritage and sonic inspirations.” - Associated Press

[New Tunes] Supreme Cuts Feat. The GTW, Khallee & David Ashley - Down

Browsing the Fader today and I came across the Chicago duo, Supreme Cuts. They are preparing to release their sophomore album, Divine Ecstasy, which has a release date of January 28th. To give us a little treat, they leaked a track entitled "Down". It features a favorite of mine, The GTW, plus Khallee and David Ashley.
The track is definitely smooth and gives you that early 90s feel with a little more "umph" to it.
You can definitely find yourself randomly dancing to it without even thinking. The song will have you remember the song "My Boo", they share some similarities.
