I rarely post freestyles, but this Lupe Fiasco freestyle over Que's "OG Bobby Johnson" beat is kinda knocking. Entitled "Thot 97, Lupe flows something nice and definitely probably has one of my favorite freestyles over the beat. Weirdly enough, he's not using THOT the way these young kids use it nowadays.

Shakira and Rihanna finally release their "Can't Remember To Forget You" video. When the song released and the talks about a video started to surface, I think everyone agreed that the vide would be 1000x hotter when the video is played on mute. That's definitely the advice I give you today. 

I can't tell you much about the songs vocals, but the video visuals are amazing and gosh the thoughts that run through your mind when you press play and begin to watch!!! LAWD!

[New Video] Big Sean Feat. Miguel - Ashley

Big Sean came back to the internet waves for a reason when he released that video for "1st Quarter" and that was to get his name back in your mouth so he can release his visuals to his track "Ashley." This song was featured on his album, Hall of Fame, and it features vocals from Miguel. 

This video is strange as shy and I have no other words to describe it!

[New Tunes] Jhene Aiko - Everything Must Go (Atlernate Version)

I genuinely love when artist utilize the other social media outlets besides twitter and instagram to premier new things. Jhene Aiko is good at using Tumblr to release her new tunes and last night she did just that and released the alternate version of "Everything Must Go." The song is definitely smooth and has a jazz like rendition feel to it that fits perfectly with her soft toned voice.

[Flashback Friday] Busta Rhymes Feat. Janet Jackson - What's It Gonna Be

Well it's the end of the week as we know and that means it's my time to do Flashback Friday. I apologize for missing last week, but I definitely have a good one for you today.

This 1999 single comes from Busta Rhymes' Extinction Level Event album. 

"What's It Gonna Be" is the video I am highlighting today and it's basically because this is one of the dopest videos I've laid eyes on to this day! Busta Rhymes and Janet Jackson shared some of the most genuine chemistry in this video that it oozed out and made everyone like "oh my goodness". This video cost about 2$ million dollars to make and the legendary Hype Williams directed the song. 

For this video to had come out in the late 90s, it was so advanced and definitely raised the stakes on creativity and originality! 

By far, this is my favorite visual to a track and it probably will bring back memories for you also.

[New Video] Meek Mill Feat. Jadakiss & Gourdan Banks - Heaven or Hell

Meek Mill wipes some dust off of Dreamchasers 3 and releases a set of new visuals for his track "Heaven Or Hell" which features Jadakiss and Guordan Jordan. Shot in his hometown Philly shows a weird depiction of violence and the consequences.

This track definitely has the potential to be a lot better than it is, it's either missing something or someone off the track needs to go missing. Great concept for a song though. Just guessing that new "break" baby required Luda to throw something out there to add to his bank account.

[New Video] Justin Bieber Feat. Chance The Rapper - Confident

Pushing all his legal troubles to aside for a moment, Justin Bieber drops off a brand new track from his most recent project, Journals. "Confident" is the track and it features Chance The Rapper, it's definitely one of the standout tracks on the album. 

Check the newly grown man out as he sings and dances and engages with the lead lady in the video. Also, peep his lame ass pick-up line in there also.

I'm a Chance The Rapper fan and I love his verse from beginning to end. Hopefully Justin stays out of trouble and continues to make some nice grown man music.

Tei Shi's debut project, Saudade, is quite old, but I never got a chance to post it when I worked for this one blog once upon a time, so now I'm posting it on my own. Tei Shi is dope from beginning to end. Her voice is timeless and the songs are amazing. The project is only 5 songs long, but every song is beautiful and has depth. Definitely something nice to have on your media players.

Really, really soon Curren$y will be releasing some a full project of audio dope entitled The Drive In Theatre. Up until recently, he's only been speaking a little about the project besides a few production credits and slight features, but late last week he dropped off a little sample of what is yet to come. "God Father 4" is the track and it features Action Bronson.

Nashville-based clothing company Aviation Bay released a nice line-up of gear this past week. Creator and owner, Terrance, had coined this released #TheAirDrop. I became aware of his line just about 2 years ago and I became a fan of his signature design, that smooth elephant. 

This collection features some nice crews, some tees, and even a dope beanie. His colorways can definitely help a sneakerhead find the perfect top to help accentuate his or her dope kicks. Even if you're not a sneakerhead, the gear has that wear with anything affect because it's not so eccentric that you're confused on what the rest of your outfit would consist of.
